Synchronize Databases

The Create Partial Database tool allows users to create new databases that contain a subset of data contained in another database.  This tools makes it simple to provide other users with only the data they require, or only the data you want them to have access to.

Follow these simple steps to make create partial databases:

1. Select the primary database by clicking the 'Select Primary Database' button and browsing to the desired database.
2. Select the secondary database by clicking the 'Select Secondary Database' button and browsing to the desired database.
3. From the Merge Type box, choose the type of synchronization to perform.
4. If you to remove all records that have been marked for deletion from both databases, check the 'Purge all Records Marked for Deletion' box .  IMPORTANT: You should ONLY choose this option if you are certain that ALL OTHER DATABASES that might be synchronized with either of your selected databases DO NOT contain the deleted records.
5. Click the 'Synchronize' button to synchronize the selected databases.
