Import / Export Configuration Database

The ePowerForms configuration database holds the form designs and custom settings for the ePowerForms system.

Any changes, customizations, or additional form designs are stored in this configuration database.

Users can easily share these custom setting with other users with the Import / Export Configuration Database Tool.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: A backup copy of your current configuration database will be created before any Import is performed.  This keeps your existing configurations safe in case of any problems with the Imported Database.

 

To Export - Follow these simple steps to export your configuration database to share with other users:

    1. Choose Export by selecting the Export radio button
    2. Select a folder to save the database to by clicking the 'Select Folder' button and browsing to the desired folder.
    3. Click the 'Export' button to export your configuration database to the selected folder.

 

To Import - Follow these simple steps to import another user's configuration database:

    1. Choose Import by selecting the Import radio button
    2. Select the database to Import by clicking the 'Select Database' button and browsing to the desired database.
    3. Click the 'Import' button to import the configuration database.
